A lot of startups and businesses don’t really consider switching to digital currencies for obvious reasons. The fluctuation in value and relatively early development stage of today’s popular digital currencies is still considered too risky to cope with. However, Bitcoin reaching its highest valuation a couple of weeks ago marked a huge shift that will be happening in 2017. More businesses are embracing digital currency now that more users are actively doing transactions with it.
Universities are preparing for the shift too. Northeastern University is among the first to offer an online finance degree with a specialization in digital currency and cryptocurrency. The demand for Bitcoin experts is increasing among companies and startups and graduates from the available programs are ready to fill key positions in various organizations.
